History of Truck Drivers

Our Truck Drivers Are National Heroes, and its Time India Treats Them as Such.
Truck drivers thus attracted the best amongst men, the most hardworking, responsible, honest, physically fit and ambitious. The drivers treated their trucks as their homes. They would sleep in it, cook in it and also entertain their friends in the truck.
They made a decent income as per the living standards back then, and they worked hard for it by driving 10 to 12 hours per day.

How It Started
After independence, India needed strong military trucks fast. Buying from other countries was too expensive. So, India made its own. The Shaktiman truck was built with help from Germany’s MAN SE. It was a proud statement — India can make trucks that last long and work hard. VFJ made over 75,000 of them. Though first for the military, it also helped in construction, freight, and heavy transport.
The Shaktiman truck is India’s legendary heavy-duty vehicle, built in 1959, known for its toughness, reliability, and versatility for military and civilian use.
Truck Decoration Culture in India:
Accessories That Add Style & Safety
India’s highways are not just filled with trucks transporting goods; they are alive with color, art, and individuality. One of the most fascinating aspects of Indian transport is the truck decoration culture, where vehicles are not merely machines but moving canvases.
From vibrant paintwork to intricate truck decoration items, every truck tells a story. This is not only about style but also about utility and safety. ROAD KING celebrates & explore the cultural significance, their practical benefits, and how this market has evolved over the years.
Why Truck Decoration Matters
At first glance, decorating a truck might seem like a purely aesthetic choice. However, it also serves multiple purposes beyond style.
